Here's my singing blog. I'll post here every day for the month of April, as decreed by the pact that has been made.
April 1st: Sang "Time is Dead" by Luna Sea (will post a video as soon as I get it synced up). Learned a lot about the silly faces I make when I sing, and know now how to fix some of the bad facial expression habits I had before. The song itself is challenging for me, since it's well above my tessitura... and above my passagio. It's in an area of my voice where I can sing it full-voiced (with power), but at the expense of some strain/fatigue. Some of the phonetics are hard to focus (the "ee" sound) when the pitch is so high, but this is one of the songs that I've learned to do that on.
